A Ceremony in the Round
Considering how you’ll lay out your garden ceremony? Think outside the box! We love this arrangement for its uniqueness and functionality. The couple is surrounded by their friends and family, everyone gets a great view of the ceremony, and from the photographer’s perspective, this is especially nice because we can cover the event from multiple angles without ever disturbing the guests! It’s also sets a really beautiful scene for your vows! Take a look and we think you’ll agree!

Garden Weddings, Honoring Family, and Creating Beautiful Memories
At a wedding we photographed last year I saw this touching display and now I so wish that I had something like this at my own wedding! Many times we see flowers on display in memory of loved ones who past on. This takes that concept to a whole new level! Hanging in the greenery above the bride and groom during their ceremony were photos of their family members who had either past away or were too ill to make it to the wedding. It made for a gorgeous focal point while at the same time, creating the symbolic gesture of their loved ones getting to stand with them as the became one. Memorable, touching, and beautiful…

Casey +Ryan | September 22 | Fall Wildflower Wedding at CJ’s Off the Square

CJ’s Off The Square in Franklin, TN has become one of our favorite spots to photograph weddings. Casey and Ryan were delightful to work with and need we mention play ice hockey, as do their friends that attended the wedding. No kidding, check out the wine bottle. It was a blast!

Creative Favor Idea for Garden Weddings!
We’ve seen these at a couple of our weddings over the past year and I thought the idea was just too cute not to share! When considering favors for your guests, why not send them home with something they can actually use rather than a random trinket? These little jars of jam are something you can make yourself, or purchase from local farmers markets. They add an interesting and fun element to the reception tables and then serve as an endearing reminder of your wedding day at the breakfast table of your guests for weeks to come!

Great Ideas for Garden Wedding Decor!
Hello all!
We recently shot a wedding at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC and I loved the natural elements they brought into their decor! They made for the perfect garden feel!
First, these floral arrangements were amazing! They combined flowers, old wine boxes, moss, and lanterns and every one was unique which just added further to the organic feel.

The moss was carried over onto the couple’s initials which adorned the front door…

I thought this was such a cool idea for the guestbook!

The chalkboard signs were a beautiful vintage touch as well…

Rustic, organic, natural and classic – this wedding had the perfect blend of all the elements that come together to make the ideal garden wedding scene!

Thanks for looking! =)
