Join CJ’s Off the Square at the Gift Back Gala
It has been quite a week here in Franklin as our community begins to recover from the devastating floods. We were so blessed here at CJ’s to be spared from severe damage but there are many people who have lost everything.
But there is good news! Our open house has been rescheduled and totally revamped as a very special opportunity for all of us to help those families who are in need.
Please join us for The Gift Back Gala!
Here’s the scoop: Come to CJ’s Off the Square this Thursday, May 13th anytime between 6-9 pm and bring any item from your gift registry or a Target, Home Depot or Lowe’s gift card and join in the celebration of generosity that is spreading throughout Middle Tennessee. Pretend you are going to a wedding…but instead of bringing a gift for the happy couple, you will be bringing a gift for a family in need who will be very happy to receive these basic household necessities.
Who says re-gifting is tacky? This is an easy way to “gift back” to families who have lost so much. And who really needs three toasters anyway?
Don’t have a gift registry? Bring a gift card! Your gift will mean so much to so many!
Complimentary valet parking will be provided and all of the fabulous food, drinks and décor you have come to expect from CJ’s Off the Square will be ready and waiting. There is no better way to celebrate our 5th Anniversary and the grand opening of our new event pavilion than “gifting” back to the community that is such an important part of what we are. I do hope you can join us for this very special evening and help our community recover. See you Thursday!
Sincerely,
CJ Dickson, Owner

Stunning Dress for Fall from Carolina Herrera
Check out the latest dress designs for 2010 at InStyle Weddings. I love this look by Carolina Herrera for a fall garden wedding. The sweetheart neckline is very flattering for so many figures and the amber beading and wheat motif is so original. The ribbon detail is a great way to add color to your bridal style while also keeping in tradition for the “white” wedding dress. LOVE it!
For a garden wedding, you want to avoid a long train that might drag through the grass and stain or even worse, catch on a stone or stick and tear. A medium-full skirt like this is perfect to give a more formal look, without some of the pitfalls of the traditional train. If the dress you love does have a train, consider bustling for the ceremony. You can still enjoy the look of the train in your bridal portraits, but will avoid damaging the dress during your procession. –CJ
